Safe Kids Step 5

Safe Kids Training

We recommend the training from the Australian Human Rights Commission. Their training is the Gold Standard for keeping your kids safe, is always up to date and gives your people the ability to prove that they have done the training through their Certificates of Completion, awarded after the successful completion of each unit.

Of course, you are free to choose whichever training you want. You can use any number of other external organisations that provide Australian Government-authorised Child Safe Training. Please note that it is a requirement of the Royal Commission Recommendations that training be provided by an authorised provider. In-house training is not generally recognised by the National Office of Child Safety, or other State/Territory Child Safety departments, as being authorised.

How to Register for the eLearning Courses

Now that you have registered for your course (remember your password!) you can now enrol in your first unit. Watch this video (below) to learn how to enrol in the Introduction to the National Principles.

How to enrol in your course

Now that you have registered and enrolled in your first unit, sit back, get some popcorn and enjoy the learning. Each of these units takes about 20 minutes to complete. We think you will enjoy them very much and they will help you keep your church or ministry a safe place for children and vulnerable people.
