Henry and Merle De Vries, who served as our SE Queensland leaders since 2021 are moving into a new era in their lives. They are happily planning their next adventures within Australia and plan to move around the country and regional areas as and when their busy schedules allow.
Full Gospel Australia thanks Henry and Merle for their ongoing support, making their church building available for State Conferences, National Leadership Team meetings and other needs as and when we have had a need. We are sure that wherever they go in their travels, they will be a blessing to people, churches and ministers of the Gospel.
Henry and Merle will be an important part of a new ministry initiative Full Gospel Australia is beginning in 2025. This ministry seeks to support local Christians in Regional and Remote Australia through a number of new ministry opportunities, including visiting teams, resourcing emerging leaders, providing training and opportunities for support and fellowship across a wide variety of geographical areas and population centres.
Our aim is to seek groups of Christians who desire and need support, working with them to provide the help they need to continue living and operating as Christian churches and ministries “in the bush.” Henry and Merle will be part of the first iteration of this ministry, serving as volunteer pioneers as they go.
